Id like to thank Dr. Nabil, the medical director, for his immediate intervention and effort to resolve the problem. His support and understanding of the situation helped a lot. My father is now receiving good medical care and the staff is responsive and accommodating which is totally appreciated.

The fact of poor parking and traffic control made me have to get to the appointment like 30mins before hand, but still be late in presentation. Would not say its hard to find a park, but the worst situation is they allow people to get on and off in the middle of the way, block the whole one way traffic. Velvet parking not efficient enough and to create another blockage on the same one way road. And at the end, Ive got to wait for more than an hour for my appointment, just because I was 5 - 10mins late to present. And thats not a single incident.

Simply amazing experience at Burjeel Hospital. Not only the clinicians are good but even the non medical staff are so professional. My appointment was with Dr. Walid - Cardiac Surgeon. Very caring and emphatic doctor. I visited Burjeel At Marina Mall. Amazing center to visit. Unbelievable ambiance and professional doctors. The center is located in such a quite corner with no hassle of any parking or traffic at all. A must visit medical center.

They claim that it is 24/7 but they do not have any doctor on Friday. Btw they are ridiculous at saying that they do not have any equipment for casting removal. I do not recommend it.

The reception was quite friendly and informative. They asked me to wait and although I waited a bit longer than expected but it was all good as Dr. Hakeem was extremely friendly and helped diagnose me quickly. I feel much better now thanks to him. The best bit is that it does not feel like a hospital at all! Overall its been a great experience in gorgeous hospital!

I gave birth at Burjeel on 24 July 2016 and I just want to say what an amazing experience I had. The nurses and doctors read my birth plan and followed it exactly how I requested. I was nervous to give birth to my second child in the middle east but your staff eased every fear or apprehension I had. Everyone from doctors to midwives to housekeeping to the food was outstanding. The communication and follow up has been amazing as well. And thank you for providing lactation rooms throughout the hospital. With only 10 days into my breastfeeding journey I am still very nervous to nurse my baby in public. The amount of lactation rooms available makes our well baby check ups and follow ups that much more easier. I know I have a private place to fees my baby as soon as he is hungry. So. Thank you so much for making my birth experience such a positive story to tell all of my friends and family... Back home in the US and here alike.

We start first step from Gynecology & Obstetrics department with Dr. Mohammed Pathukutty & their Staff, So, specially I want to thanks for Doctor & their staff to Excellence Consultation as well as friendly attention to all kind of matters. Also, I want to say we had a unbelievable service fulfill with the nurses friendly & timely attentions in Labor Suits and their Wards. And my Special thanks for Nurses Ms. Gito, & Sindhu, you gave much more advises to my wife for easy Normal delivery. Overall feedback for Burjeel having a very good environment, friendly service at everywhere, Lab reports ready with minimum time, and valet parking facility and my highly recommendation for everyone to try you nest step to Burjeel.

Physically, the hospital is more than 5 stars. It is more like a 5 star hotel, with live piano and harp playing, restaurant, cafe, juice and coffee machines. Medical facilities are also of the highest quality. The doctors are generally good too, but some seem too rushed to get you in and out too quickly, they do make you feel the commercial aspect of it.. time is money.

I hurt my elbow 3 weeks ago. The emergency department was excellent in directing me to the Orthopedic department, although once I went there, the reception was unhelpful and suggested I come back the next day. Everything dramatically changed with the incredible assistance of department manager, Artion. I have truly never experienced such genuine patient concern and assistance. He took charge immediately, turning the situation around. He promptly found an orthopedist, and from there on, the service of the department was excellent. The doctor swiftly diagnosed my elbow, requested an X-ray, and diagnosed my elbow. The process was efficient and satisfactory and I am immensely grateful for Artions assistance. In conclusion, the service at Burjeel is hit and miss depending on who one is interacting with. On a positive note, the family medicine drop in department is excellent as one does not have to make an appointment and the doctors are good.

I saw Dr Farida in family care. I was hesitant at the care I would be receiving after I was misdiagnosed by another doctor from the same office a week prior. I was pleasantly surprised and believe I received a thorough exam. I would come back to see this Dr again. I also bring my two daughters to the pediatrics department and we always request to see Dr Deepti. She is so sweet and takes her time to listen and interact with your children. I did not have a good experience with the optometry department, but overall I would recommend this hospital.

I read all reviews and agreed with them for appointment problem, if you have appointment you have to wait 1 or 2 hour. 1 hour is normal. there is no purpose to book the appointment. secondly if you call direct to Obstetrics and Gynecology reception no one pick the call and automatic transfer to recording, its happened all the time. if appointment on time & good follow up i can give 4 star of this hospital. i think staff need proper training to serve first appointment patients one by one then serve walking patients. Thanks

I just want to share my experience with Doctor Pathukutty, shes very kind and generous doctor. She will answer all your queries, and shes honest with all the answers that she will give you. Last 4th September 2016, I successfully delivered a 3.9 kilos baby girl. Yes, 3.9 kilos it is! This second delivery that I have had was very tough for me, but we the excellenct OB I had, Dr. Pathukutty made it easier for me. I could not possibly imagine how her magical hands were able to let loose of the huge baby coming from my tummy :) I just can recall that I was having a hard time as they altogether uttered "push" because it seemed that I am already grasping for breathe. Thanks to Dr. Pathukutty for making it on normal delivery. The baby has a broad shoulders but all is well when she came out. Im glad that Dr. Pathukutty is always available especially at times that I really need to see her. With the queing because of too many patients she has, I can always find myself lucky to see her even if it means for Dr. Path to stay late. This Dr. assured me during my check-ups and during my delivery that everything will be fine and I find the comfort in knowing that there are still doctors who are not just doing for sake of their responsibility but of utmost concern to their patients. And this experience was Superb! Could not ask for more! Thanks Doki. Nurse Camille and Nurse Almina are very supportive, too! They have been one of the great nurses that are commendable for excellent service. They too are very concerned with my condition esp that I am suffering for diabetis. They would not fail to ask if I did monitor my sugar bla bla bla... Yet, I am very impressed! Thanks Girls! To Dr. Path, you are one of the great Doctors some of the hospitals never had! Congrats Burjeel, you have found one!

Very disappointed! Had an appointment with Dr. Khaled (gastroenterologist), waited for long and then was told that he was busy attending other patient. As I came with two months baby, was really challenging to wait for so long. Also had an appointment with Dr. Hala for my baby girl, doctor checked my baby for less than a minute, was rushing us to leave fast and was not pleasant/welcoming. Will not recommend this hospital to any colleague or friend.

Again visited last week, Abu Dhabi branch. Second time here and same experience. Dr. Aruna Kumari was two hours late on all patients. Its been TWO hours and Im still waiting for my appointment. I went to ask if there is delays because no one would come and care to ask and follow up, they asked me if I want to cancel my appointment. I dont know how other people are rating this place 4 stars, and the hospital seem to respond only to positive reviews. Such a waste of time. If you are willing to wait for hours for a consultation, then this is your place.

Honesty , I was not really impressed with my experience in this hospital , though it was quick and short . I have been with my boy 3 years old to chekc out his dental pains but in return received very arrogant replays from the Mr. doctor. In my opinion doctor must be able to advice whoch best work for the patient at current condition but not to offer some options and let you to choose what to do. At the end I finally count this as language barrier and I really hope that I am right and my family bad expirience just an occasion rather than rule.

I was given a 9am appointment with Dr Limia. We arrived to the clinic at 8:40 am to finish up the registration and potentially see the doc on time. However, 30 mins later we were still waiting to be even called to the nursing station. At 9:45 am, I went up to the nurse to ask what is taking so long, her response baffled me. She said that the doctor had a procedure scheduled at 9:30 am. I complained that its unacceptable to schedule patients at 9 and keep them waiting, while the doc has already started another procedure. It turned out that at 9:55am the doc didnt even start the procedure. When dr Limia came out to see us, she said that her procedure didnt even start because the anesthesiologist was also late. I suggested that she sees us while waiting for the other MD to show up. We went to her office at 10:10 only to find out that I wasnt even registered in the system yet. The doctor told us that it wasnt her fault, that the call center always schedules patients in the mornings despite her telling them that the mornings are only for procedures. I told her that it wasnt our fault either. So she walked out 5 mins later to start her procedure. This was both unacceptable and unethical that no one would be accountable for what happened. I walked out and refused that you would bill my insurance company for a consultation that never happened. I understand that this is a for profit, but you are the worst medical entity I have ever been to. There really isnt any need for you to display our patients rights when you treat people in such a disrespectful manner. I called the guest relations complaints line, and talked to someone about what happened, but nothing came out of it. I will call HAAD as well as my insurance company to make sure you dont bill them without actually seeing the patients. This is the definition of lack of ethics and integrity.

I generally used to go to cornice hospital , but as the doc shifted to Burjeel , I started going here. I must say that I wasnt disappointed . Most aspects are pretty good with sumptuous food available , good docs and rooms very really plush . With every place, there is some scope for improvement and here I believe that its important for them to focus on the waiting time reduction . Although, might be because the hospital is pretty booked most of the time. Little more improvement and it will be pretty top notch

I had to get my father treated for his heart condition which had gone bad. After going a bit of searching around, i went to Burjeel for getting treatment from him. Now although hospitals arent great places to be in, at Burjeel, it really didnt seem like that. Registering might have taken some time. but after that everything was pretty good. I had a consult with Dr Venkitachalam who made me feel at ease and gave us ample time to discuss my fathers case. The ambiance was also pretty amazing and at times i really did forget that we were in a hospital. Anyways, my dad is now well and I just wanted to thank the Burjeel staff and doctors for the support. Keep up the good work !

Hi, I was on a visit to Abu Dhabi for the weekend and having had bad experiences in private hospitals in Dubai, I went to Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi for a very severe pain which I get regularly due to my kidney stones. I was pleasantly surprised that an Abu Dhabi based hospital could provide such a good service. We were welcomed at the reception and quickly taken to the Emergency. The Registration staff called the ER nurses and promptly I was taken in and placed on a bed. The doctor came quickly while my wife filled up the registration. Within few minutes they did my tests and concluded that it was the kidney stone. My wife in the meanwhile was treated very well as she was served with Arabic Coffee (something I have never seen a hospital do before). I was out of the hospital in just over an hour and was recommended to go to a Urologist for the possibility of Laser Stone Removal. I am now back in Dubai but would like to go back to Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi for my treatment. There are few things that are better in Abu Dhabi than Dubai and Burjeel Hospital is definitely one on them.

They were redirecting me to another specialists and it took me 4 long hours to finish . I find it extremely appalling because if there is an appointed time the patient had to be invited . It is next to impossible to get an appointment with a doctor within the week. Almost every doctor in the department seems to be overbooked and overworked. Doctors are always in a hurry to wrap up the appointment as there are plenty other patients just like me who waited almost a week to get the appointment. Most often they are primarily treating shirt term but dont discuss long term treatment. And If youre looking for an ultra sound appointment, Good Luck. Almost any appointment is going to be delayed 30 mins+

Took my kid over to the hospital for a pediatric consult. Previously i used to go to Al Noor but wasnt happy. Burjeel hospital seems like a quite an ugrade from Al Noor and like how everything seems to have a process and moves quite efficiently. Sure there seems to be a waiting time but the service and quality of the doctor was top notch. Personally i was more than happy at the hospital. Apart from a few things here and there, had a pretty good experience.

Worst experience with DR.LATA BALKRISHNA BORUDE Internal medicine. Just went for consultation.After doing the lab ivestigation, had to show the results.Since I am a Doctor working from 9-5pm and she comes in rotation,couldnt meet her.Told me u can walk in and show the results.But made such a fuss.She said u have to wait till i see 9 patients.Being from the same country I opted her.Never do I wish to see her again.Inspite of being in the same medical profession she dint know to treat people with repsect.
